7th Annual Peace Feast

Saturday, June 1, 2019, Noon – 2 pm

Square Dance Pavilion, Pioneer Park

Celebrating Peacemakers in our Community!

Come Help us Celebrate!

APC Peace Feast, June 2, 2018

Free famous barbeque! Please bring a dish to share and eating utensils if possible. This will be an opportunity to relax in the summer sun and share ideas and interests. We encourage those with a passion for peace to get involved at the personal level to make a difference in our own community. We’ll be featuring short presentations of work toward peace, justice, and sustainability being done in our community. The Square Dance Pavilion is between the Dance Hall and the the Pioneer Air Museum.

The Alaska Peace Center works for peace, justice and sustainability – individually, in our community and globally – with a commitment to nonviolent conflict resolution. For more information, contact info@alaskapeace.org.

Dear friends who made the 7th Annual Peace Feast so wonderful!

Thank you so much for showing up, feeding, eating, speaking, visiting, learning and contributing at the Peace Feast this past Saturday!

With the weather so wet and cold, we had thought folks might just not show up. But true and hearty Alaskans all, every planned presenter appeared and the audience turnout was great!

We thank Dick Farris for the delicious barbecue, which is one center of this event.

And, we thank each individual who spoke about their care for our region, the other center of this event:
